Stacy French

for Town Clerk

“I’m running for Town Clerk because of my commitment and love for our Pound Ridge community, coupled with my sixteen years of professional expertise as a trusted, highly regarded administrator at the municipal level. I’ve previously had the privilege of being appointed Deputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer by four different mayors in a municipality that served 10,000 residents. If I am fortunate enough to have an opportunity to be elected by my neighbors in Pound Ridge, I will use my expertise developed in those past roles to help Pound Ridge plan and capture opportunities in all areas: to serve us, to help maintain and to fully bring our township into the 21st Century.”

With Joanne Pace retiring, it is important to fill the vacancy of the Town Clerk position with someone who has the experience of doing the job.  Stacy French has 16 years experience as a municipal Deputy Treasurer and Deputy Clerk in a large town on Long Island. She was tasked with advancing important processes to ensure Federal, State and County Civil Service procedures and compliance to elevate the municipality to one of the highest functioning local governments in NYS. Employee benefits and record retention are essential for our local government functioning, and Stacy is the right candidate to provide this service for the people of Pound Ridge.  Her professional qualifications serving five mayors match her spirit and passion to serve her community.

A proud Pound Ridger, she is a Trustee of the Pound Ridge Historical Society; Harvest Festival Committee Member, member of the Town's Waste Water Task Force and an enthusiastic FLMSA co-Vice President.
